rules gone crazy

Remember my incident with rubish falling in my eyes at work and my shock that the medi-kit didnt have any emergency eyewash? I have now discovered that they arent allowed to have eyewash, for fear that you might have a reaction to it and sue !

So it seems its cheaper for employees to be blinded and sue rather that have eyewash onsite, and risk being sued over a reaction that I might have to the eyewash ! Surely this cant be true? The sad thing is, it probably is true. Whatever next ?
